About Way2target Services

Way2target is a self-served audience cloud or platform integrated with digital advertising technology. It provides targeted advertising and marketing services for our clients. When our technology is used by marketers, advertisers or agencies running data-driven marketing campaigns, it helps them drive engagement to their campaigns by enabling them in showing advertisements to their own targeted customers and audience who may be interested in their products or services (interest based advertising). Advertisers, marketers or agencies use our technology to segment their target audience, B2B or B2C, from our largest audience cloud and engage with them through Email, SMS and Programmatic display channels across devices. Our technology also enables the advertisers to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns. Also, the advertisers can enrich the data of their already existed customers, whoever are the part of our audience cloud, by identity matching or identity syncing.

How do we use data?

  • We use this data to create a marketing profiles of individuals. This includes demographics such as age, gender, income, hobbies and interests that relate to people’s lifestyle choices, online actions and market specific predictors such as technology.
  • We use a combination of actual data held (at individual level or summarized at geographical level) and derived information (through statistical modeling or by applying a logical rule set) which indicates an individual’s likelihood of having a particular attribute, which results in a dataset that can be used by advertisers to make their marketing more relevant.
  • We use data for matching and enriching the customer data of our clients. Way2target may receive personal information from the clients or partners that has been de-identified, typically by using a mathematical process (commonly known as a hash function) to convert information into a code. We use that de-identified data to provide our services (including to connect your activity and interests). Way2target also de-identifies data by assigning proprietary IDs to technical identifiers, such as cookies. For example, an advertiser sends us a list of names and Email Ids, we then match those names and Email Ids to our audience cloud. Where there is a match, we add the lifestyle information we hold on those matched individuals to the advertiser file; or instead of adding lifestyle information we append a persistent key to the advertiser file which can then be used to recognize records that have the same key appended to them. In some cases, we may do both.
  • We use contact information from this data to enable clients to deliver them with the most relevant and targeted marketing campaigns to audience across devices. Clients using the data to contact people, need to ensure they may do so in accordance with law of land.
  • We track the campaign data to enable our clients to analyze and improve the effectiveness of online advertising campaign.
  • We may also create data-driven marketing products, including models and use the data to undertake research and analysis, product development & testing, identity verification, fraud detection, and prevention, etc.
